Our professionals will have a solution for both high-rise and low-rise buildings based on laws and regulations enforced by the authorities.
To facilitate safety and comfort both, our engineers use NFPA standards, Chicago Building codes and Chicago Electric code in their design process, to provide you with utmost safety and functionality in your system.
From loud noises to greenhouse emission and from ventilation to other healthcare considerations, we got you covered.
Legally, our MEP engineers at Yadavian engineers determine this based on the characteristics of the building you reside in. In accordance with the Chicago City Building Code, office buildings, whether high-rise or low-rise, are required to install an emergency power system.
For High-Rise Office Buildings:
All high-rise structures must adhere to the official standards outlined by NFPA and implement an emergency generator system.
For Low-Rise Office Buildings:
These buildings will incorporate the system if an occupied floor is within seventy-five feet of fire truck access and if the total floor area exceeds fifteen thousand square feet, or one hundred thousand square feet for the entire building.
